HUD does not send automatic reminders — it is your responsibility to verify your status and submit recertification when required.
Follow the simple steps below to complete the process quickly and correctly.

Step 1: Check Your Status
Before submitting anything, verify your current listing.
Search by your name or state to confirm:
Whether your certification is active
Your expiration date
If recertification is required
If your listing shows inactive or nearing expiration, proceed immediately to Step 2.

Step 2: Download the Recertification Form
Complete the official recertification form.

Fill out the form completely and accurately before submitting.

Step 3: Submit Your Form to HUD
Email your completed form to:

Sending from your primary business email
Adding a “Read Receipt” request
Saving a copy of your sent email for your records
Subject Line Recommendation:
203k Consultant Recertification – [Your Full Name]

Step 4: Watch for Confirmation
HUD typically responds within:
⏳ 7–10 business days
You should receive an email confirmation of successful recertification.
If you do not receive a response within that timeframe:
Follow up with HUD
Keep documentation of your submission
